Housing and Transportation Near Shriners-Los Angeles
On-site and Local Lodging
Bedside: We realize that the presence of a parent during a child's hospital stay is very reassuring. Therefore, we encourage one parent/guardian to room-in their child. We provide a single cot or reclining chair, bed linens and shower facilities for the convenience ofthe parent staying. Accommodations: We have several hotels, motels and Ronald McDonald Houses that we work with in various price ranges. To make hotel reservations or reservations at the Ronald McDonald House in Los Angeles or Pasadena, please contact the Patient and Family Services Department at (213) 368-3393.
We allow one parent or guardian to stay at the hospital while their child is hospitalized. The parent or guardian may either stay in a guest room or on a cot in the patient�s room. The four guest rooms are dormitory style with four beds in each. Please contact the Patient and Family Services Department at (213) 368-3393 to make arrangements to stay at the hospital. Please note, it is helpful to plan two weeks in advance for accommodations and the hospital can only make arrangements for one parent or guardian to stay in the hospital. The parent or guardian that stays at the hospital also should bring money for food. The parent or guardian that stays in the hospital will receive a special wrist band that gives them a discount in the hospital cafeteria.
Transportation: Please contact your local Shrine Center for transportation to and from the hospital.
