The PhilanthropyShriners Hospitals for Children Shriners Hospitals for Children is a network of 22 state-of-the-art pediatric hospitals: 18 orthopaedic hospitals Twenty hospitals throughout the United States and one each in Canada and Mexico make this a truly international hospital network. Since 1922, Shriners Hospitals have treated more than 835,000 children from around the world, absolutely free of charge. We do not accept funding from insurance providers or government agencies, relying solely on the charitable efforts of the Shrine of North America and donations from the public.
